Présentation

John King is the author of ten novels – The Football Factory, Headhunters, England Away, Human Punk, White Trash, The Prison House, Skinheads, The Liberal Politics Of Adolf Hitler, Slaughterhouse Prayer and London Country.

The Football Factory had been adapted for both stage and film. A novella The Beasts Of Brussels was published as part of the three-story collection The Seal Club, which also features work by Irvine Welsh and Alan Warner. A second novella, Grand Union, will appear in Seal Club 2: The View From Poacher’s Hill, in 2023.

John has written short stories for anthologies and non-fiction for a number of newspapers and magazines, with articles appearing in the likes of the New Statesman, Le Monde and La Repubblica. He co-owns the independent publisher London Books and edits the small-press fiction journal Verbal. He lives in London.
