Coming to the Imaginales 🇬🇧

As we are receiving more and more questions from non-French speakers about the Imaginales, we created this guide to help you organize your time with us, in Épinal.

ABOUT THE IMAGINALES

Les Imaginales Festival is an outdoor literary festival focused on fantasy and science fiction created by the city of Épinal in 2002. The next edition will take place from Thursday May 19th to Sunday May 22nd.

Each year, we select and invite over 150 authors who take part in a large program of conferences and roundtables. We hope to create a space for authors and readers to exchange and for academics and visitors to reflect on fantasy and science fiction.

Through the presence of Bodypainting’s meetings, historical re-enactment and numerous cosplayers, Le Parc du Cours becomes, for a few days, a timeless place for visitors to wander.

Though the festival officially closes at 7 PM, you may find some of our various evening activities engaging, such as the Bmi’s Murder Party on Thursday 19th, Michael Roch’s book signing on Thursday 19th or the Imaginales’s classical concert on Saturday 21st.
